I have not written the title ‘Neither PPP nor PML-N’, because I consider the reader intelligent enough to not even consider voting for PPP considering the financial inflation, energy crisis, target killing, sectarian massacres and escalation of drones in the past five years. If anyone is getting impressed by the Pak-Iran gas pipeline deal, well that is just an election stunt. The Pak-Iran gas pipeline deal is a must-do project, but it has been on the table since 1990. The fact that it has been ‘finalized’ in a daring move near the elections is all too obvious. I can bet that if PPP returns to power, they will cancel or postpone the project under some pretext of a ‘technical difficulty’. PPP does not have the concept, ethics or dare to defy America.
As far as PML-N is concerned, our family and friends have voted for PML-N as long as I can remember it.
But, no more. We have shifted from PML-N to PTI and Jamat-e-Islami. Why?
Yes definitely PML-N has a nameable contribution to the economy and development of Pakistan. To name the most prominent projects is Pakistan Motorway, Yellow Cab Scheme, Sasti Roti, Metro Bus Service, Highways and Flyovers. I would have liked to mention the Nuclear Test of 1988 but I will not do so because we all know that it was actually the Armed Forces who took a stand and gave no room to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to succumb to the American pressure and not go ahead with the tests. I would have also liked to mention Laptops, but those too have been distributed solely in competition of PTI.
However, the pitfall of PML-N performance remains in their continuous exhibition of a weak Faith, confused ideology and cowardice. One day PML-N passes a bill against concerts. When the disco youth creates a fuss, PML-N quickly conducts a mixed marathon race to ‘damage control’ and save their vote bank. Do they consider people’s mood more important, powerful and decisive than Allah Almighty’s Will? Will compromising Islam win them elections? Are we here to fulfill people’s whims or Allah Almighty’s commandments?
As Allama Iqbal puts it very well,
Meri zindagi ka maqsad, Terae deen ki sarfarazi
Mae isi liye musalman, Mae isi liye namazi
And that is why any Muslim is a politician. And that is why any Muslim is a doctor. And that is why any Muslim is an engineer. And that is why any Muslim is a teacher. And that is why any Muslim is a student. And that is why any Muslim lives. And that is why any Muslim dies. To glorify Islam, and not to misuse it for personal gains or ignore it in the hour of need.
In the political scenario, Pakistan has been facing increasing turbulence in the last ten years and circumstances demanded a sincere, solid and unwavering performance.
Let us see PML-N’s performance of the last five years.
PML-N promised to avenge the Lal Masjid episode in the manifesto of 2008 elections and even visited them. Did Mian Nawaz Sharif ever again visit the Lal Masjid folks after winning the Punjab elections? Did they seek an investigation and a trial? Did they try to recover the missing girls of Lal Masjid who are reported to have been ‘distributed’ in Punjab?
PML-N was hesitating to take a decisive stand for participation in Long March 2009. It was very obvious from TV interviews of PML-N members. Then, it was only when President Zardari toppled the Punjab government that the Sharif brothers got into action and joined the Long March with full gusto. It was for the restoration of their government and not so much for the Judiciary. Further, today PML-N members twist the happenings of the Long March 2009 and accuse Imran Khan of eloping from the scene while we all know that he was in fact in hiding, as activists were being picked up by the agencies. He was in hiding within Islamabad in order to join the Long March in the capital on the final day, that was 16th March 2009. However, the Chief Justice was restored prior to it. It is very bad of PML-N members to twist facts like this while we are all witness to the happenings of that revolution and Imran Khan’s committed participation in it and likewise always.
According to Wikileaks, secret interviews were conducted to judge the opinion of Pakistani politicians upon drone attacks. Only Imran Khan and Jamat-e-Islami condemned them in confidential meetings as well, while others condemned in public and commended in private. PML-N not only sanctioned them but said something that can even be termed as funny. They said that, ‘Since we do not have drone technology, you kill them. When we will have the drone technology, we will do it ourselves’. Very criminal and anti-Islamic sentiments!
When Dr. Aafia Siddiqui was being sentenced on 23rd September, 2010, Mian Nawaz Shareef sent a message to the media that he was praying on the Musalah for her. Why did he not choose to sit and pray on the Musalah instead of leading the Long March when his brother’s provincial government was toppled in 2009? Had he lead a similar Long March for Aafia Siddiqui and Missing Persons, the scenario of Pakistan would have been positively and totally different today.
Just before Raymond Davis was released, Mian Nawaz Shareef suddenly went to the UK for some heart surgery, an ailment we have never in our lives heard of related to him. Not only that, but Mian Shabaz Shareef also followed suit, to inquire about his health. Are we mentally retarded that we cannot put two and two together? And this was not the first time the Shareef brothers have retreated from a precarious situation. When Saudi Arabia intervened and struck a deal with the Pakistani government to let go Nawaz Shareef off the capital punishment in the Musharraf-Nawaz trial, Mian Nawaz Shareef left for Saudi Arabia complete with his family, trunks and even servants, leaving behind his worthy leaders like Javed Hashmi and Saad Rafique to face imprisonment and torture
When the May 2, Abbotabad Raid took place, the APC was called in response. There Mian Nawaz Shareef said ‘Are we sure there is nothing up our sleeves…after all why is there such a hue and cry worldwide?’. It seemed as if he was trying to send a subliminal message to the foreign masters that he is ready to sniff around our armed forces and hence is the ‘right’ candidate for the next Presidency or Prime Ministership.
The PML-N members have also been making side-comments on T.V. shows which show that they are now even backing out of the principal stand that participation in the Afghan Jihad was for the sake of Islam. Perhaps they are making such comments because it will look good and promising on the PML-N resume to be printed to the foreign masters for they are ones who pull the strings prior to elections.
And PML-N members are also victimizing the one person, other than Jamat-e-Islami, who is capable of taking principal stands, that is Imran Khan. There accusations are weak, reactionary and immature. For example, one very old member of PML-N was sneering at Sir Imran Khan that he is making desperate moves to win the coming elections because he is now a ‘very old man’ and does not have much time left in politics. Look who is talking! Please tell them not to do so. Their child-like criticism is only strengthening him for it exposes the hollowness of PML-N and hence will not defer people from voting for him.
Last but not the least, it is in fact Mian Nawaz Shareef and not Pervaiz Musharraf who is the pioneer of abductions and handovers to America. He was the one who handed over Emal Kansi in the first place. Emal Kansi and Raymond Davis did something similar. So, did the Americans handover Raymond Davis to us or did they whisk him away right from under our nose?
The only credit to be given to Mian Nawaz Shareef currently is that he is refraining from defaming Imran Khan directly in his public rallies. That is very good ethics. On this point, I would request Imran Khan to do the same and focus on positive politics, rather than defaming Nawaz Shareef in public rallies. Imran Khan has enough agenda up his sleeves to win on its credit alone. Plus, he will Insha Allah bring out the crowd who have never bothered to cast their vote before.
PML-N is basically a rightist party and the rightist and religious people would have loved to give vote to it had PML-N delivered an Islamic, principled and brave performance in the last five years. Since they have not done so, let us please give a chance to PTI or Jamat-e-Islami.

Hi There Gays & Lesbians
Homosexuality should be given social acceptance, yes? It is not unto us to decide what is normal and what is not, yes? Religion should confine itself to describing worship rituals and should be silent about social, political and morality issues, yes? Homosexuality is genetic and cannot be helped, yes? Who are you and I to give a morality verdict on homosexuality, let nature takes its course, yes?
I suppose you will soon be telling me that group-sex is also okay. You would also be telling me that human-animal sex is also okay. You would also be telling me that artificial sex is also okay…
This is really upsetting. Now, how will Jerry Springer conduct his shows in future?
Imagine Jerry Springer hosting a show with a love triangle of a man, a woman and a donkey. As the woman accuses her husband of cheating on her, Jerry Springer will try to interview the new love in the man’s life. He will try to interview the donkey. Is your imagination running along with mine? Yes, so there is the donkey sitting. The man has his arm around its neck. And Jerry Springer questions the donkey, ‘How do you feel about starting a relationship with a married man?’ But the donkey is unable to answer, saying only dhai ghoo dhai ghoo. Jerry Springer attempts to get an answer again, but to no avail. Jerry Springer tries to question in French, German, Hindi, but to no avail. He does not get anything more than dhai ghoo dhai ghoo. Dejected, Jerry Springer winds up his show, inconclusive.
Genes, hmmm? I do not want to write anything political in a totally morality-based issue, however, I will just make a quick, necessary reference. Since the last ten years, when any act of terrorism takes place worldwide, and if the perpetrator is a Muslim, it will immediately be mentioned that the perpetrator was a Muslim. And if he was a Pakistani Muslim, all the more better, and that shall be specifically mentioned too. It is because it is extremely necessary in the upcoming world order that every terrorist must be a Muslim and a Pakistani, for reasons that might be read elsewhere. However, if a non-Muslim commits terrorism, for example, the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting, it is simply said, ‘Adam Lanza, age 20, fatally shot twenty children and six adults…’ It is not said, ‘Adam Lanza, an American Christian, fatally shot twenty children and six adults…’ The reason is psychological. They do not want to link the terrorism to either Christianity or Americanism, but in case of Islam and Pakistan, they do. In one case, a possible connection is being ignored and in the other case, a possible connection is being enforced. I also came to read in the newspapers that the investigators of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting were studying the genes of Adam Lanza in an effort to find out…find out what? If a Muslim does terrorism it is because he is a Muslim and if an American does terrorism, something is wrong in that ‘individual’s’ gene’s? Excuse me a minute, but I must laugh out loud and for a full one minute.
One minute over.
The point is, when we want to find an excuse for something, we will go as far down as exploring the genes for it. We wanted to provide a scientific excuse for homosexuality, hence, we started to tap their genes.
Maybe, yes maybe it is something in their genes, I do not know, but then so is the Down’s Syndrome in the genes. It does not make it normal or okay. It remains a setback, a tragedy and an abnormality to be dealt with respectfully.
Another crucial aspect is that, we are what we eat. It is a biological, medical and a religious fact. Thus, eating pork induces us with pig-like characteristics. The species of pig is observed to indulge in infidelity, group sex and homosexuality. Perhaps that is the reason that sexual disorders originate from and are more frequent in the communities which consume pork.
People of other communities, currently having the slavish mindset, have picked up the trend. So it is either the same biological reasons or worse, it is now becoming a fad. For some individuals, it is fashionable to be a gay or a lesbian, even if they are not! Also, it is even considered funny in instances and something to joke about, which ‘normalizes’ the sickness due to it.
If you still have sympathy or ‘understanding’ for homosexuality, or if it still intrigues you, well can you please tell me what is wrong with incest then?
For those who might not know, incest means sexual relationship between direct blood relations, for example, father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister and so on. It is considered a crime internationally. Why? Who are you to tell me that I cannot have sex with my parents, my siblings or my children?
Manmade laws are, as the name explicitly says, manmade. Who decided that incest should be a crime? Why should I obey any other person’s decision in my personal life? Holy Scriptures are the only thing which might have had the right to serve as a guide to me in my personal life and community role, because God may be considered superior to human beings as He would then be, supposedly, The Creator and The Knower. However, since I have disowned religion, and you have given me full encouragement and liberty to do so, so now try and stop me. Give me one good reason why I cannot indulge in incest?

I Killed a Finger Today
‘Yes, definitely that brand juice is the best in the market’. ‘And no one does my hair like that brand shampoo’. ‘Well, my kids just cannot do without that brand burger’.
Wars are fought with the support of economy. And the greatest economic factor is oil. Not only that, oil is directly fed to tanks, jets and missiles. Wikipedia states that fifty-six percent of the world oil reserves lie in the Middle East alone, while the remaining lies distributed between different countries. The non-Muslims have duped the Middle Easterners well, so that they actually sell oil to them to be used against their own nation, yes, the Muslim nation. This oil from the Middle East is used to bombard Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and many other proxy wars.
I was once watching a documentary about water surfing. The surfer was an Arab prince by the name of Abdullah, who was being coached by a foreigner. Let us call him Jim. So Mr. Jim was running a commentary as he coached Abdullah, saying, ‘My, my, Mr. Abdullah is a very adventurous person. He has learnt excellent surfing. He is doing a great job…’ Mr. Jim, of course you would find reason to praise Prince Abdullah. You have made an utter fool out of him and his nation and you are even making money out of it. What could be better and funnier? You have engrossed this rich, Muslim prince in leisure, pleasure and useless sports, while he could have been an intellectual, human and financial asset to the Muslim nation, provided he lived in the correct perspective. Further, the money that Mr. Jim earns adds to the GNP of his country; a portion of which goes to their defence budget. With this budget they buy oil from the same foolish Muslims and fuel their tanks and aircrafts to bombard the same Muslim nation. I would not be surprised if Mr. Jim and his comrades, in their private gatherings, laugh out loud, get a hiccup from laughing too much and fall to the ground holding their stomachs, laughing even more. Oh I forgot to mention one small detail. The Arab prince, along with his Juba and head-dress, was even wearing a very long braid. Yes, a braid. Need I say anything else?
The same is the case with consumer products. We buy their products, we add to their GNP and consequently to their defence budget. This budget is then used to buy weapons, artillery and recruit soldiers who slaughter the same children whom you fed with their burgers, rape the same women who used their shampoos and torture the same men who were just not willing to give up a simple glass of their juice brand.
The snare of their economy has expanded so much that sometimes we do not even realize that it is their product. For example, you pick up a bottle and read the back. It reads, ‘Made is Saudi Arabia’. Your conscious becomes clear. You put it in your shopping cart and there you go…Hold on a second, Ma’am. That product was ‘manufactured’ in Saudi Arabia but it is owned by a non-Muslim franchising company. A portion of the profit is still going to them, however small. It’s called royalty.
While there are some companies, Jewish or non-Jewish, with their hearts and souls beating with the existence of Israel. They contribute financially directly towards the illegal existence of Israel and obtusely, endorse the open-air prison of Palestine.
Last but not the least, we choose to work in their countries, sometimes, just for a better lifestyle. When we live in their country, and pay tax, once again we are contributing to their GNP, a portion of which goes to their notorious defence budget.
Having said all this, there is the counter argument by people who smile cynically at this ideology and say, ‘What will you do about Computers? Weapons? Medicine? How will you quit those?’
The answer is very simple, provided we are honest and committed in our resolve not to aid anti-Muslimism.
Firstly, leave what you can. Secondly, revise what you think you cannot leave. Do you really not have any alternatives? Thirdly, if it is an absolute must to buy something, buy it but do not make it an excuse to buy everything else too.
The scales of decision are set with the measurement of Muslims’ plight versus pleasure, quality and the absolute necessity.
Pleasure-buying has no justification.
Quality-buying is debatable. For example, it may be more convenient buying pampers of their brand because they are more leak-proof. However, we can put in a little extra effort of changing the lesser quality pampers more frequently to avoid the leakages. Usually, we have the cost factor in mind too; changing more frequently will cost more. Whereas the fact of the matter is that their pampers are more expensive, and at the end of the day, the expense of both brands becomes more and less equal as one costs more, and the other is used more. Similar is the argument for other consumer products. Almost always, we have alternatives, but at the cost of convenience, quality or speed of work. Are these factors more important than the dearth of life, mass destruction and unimaginable torture?
Yet, a better solution in the long run is; what stops us Muslims from making high-quality products? Carelessness? Laziness? Dishonesty? Find a quality entrepreneur, or become one yourself. It is not impossible. If you look into the history of big-time business tycoons, many of them started out as street hawkers. All you need is a vision, commitment and Allah Almighty’s help. Allah Almighty has supported their hard work. Give me one good reason why He will he not support yours?
The absolute necessity is then the absolute necessity. It can, or rather should be taken, but in the parallel, one must make a roadmap to free oneself of that necessity in the long run. For example, we might have to buy machinery of some kind from them which is not available in any Muslim or friendly non-Muslim ownership. It is the ethical responsibility of the pioneers then to build up from what they have acquired in collaboration with educational, research-based and productive institutes of the Muslims.
What do you say?
Let us say, a single bomb costs about a thousand dollars. This bomb thrown at a Muslim settlement killed about fifty Muslims. Your contribution to that bomb was only one cent because of a pack of juice that you bought of their economy. Your one cent has contributed towards blasting away a finger only, in proportion to the entire cost of the attack versus the entire massacre.
It was just a cent. It killed only a finger. Nevertheless, you killed.
"If the inhabitants of the Heaven and Earth were to share in shedding the blood of a Believer, Allah would not care anything and throw all of them in Hell." [Hadith, Transmitted by Abu Sayd and Abu Hurayrah, Book of Tirmizi, N.991]
Will you still buy?
